Hi, all catfriends!

Behind the breed Riåkern´s You´ll find me, Johan Helenelund 39 year old. I live together with my wife Lena and our three children in a small village called Helenelund in the township of Korsnäs in Finland. Korsnäs is 50 km south of Vasa.
My profession is to grow tomatoes, a company I have together with my wife. We grow tomatoes in large greenhouses, on about 2.700 square metres alltogether.

RIÅKERNS is the name of my farm. We bought our first birman in 1995, S*SKIPPARN'S SILVER SPIRIT or Sigge for short, a neutered chocolate tabby point male. We bought him as pet quality, because I had no intention of breeding och shows. But one day we decided to show him after all at a Cat Show in Turku. He became Best in Show! Since then he have had great success and is today European Premier.

A year later, we bought our first birman female a seal point called S*Taccini's Punch Pokal, "Sussie" for short. Since then we have bought two blue pointed females called S*Varicella's Blue Urethra or "Belinda" and S*Fredrikakattens Madonna.

We also have a Colourpoint Persian female, FIN*Sinihuiskan Dolores or "Emma" her colour is blue point (PER a33).

Under the last year our cattery has expand with two Norwegian Forest Cat females. The first one is a blacktortiemackereltabby-white named DK*Rose-Red Felis Audax. The second one is a blue-silvermackereltabby-white named FIN*Ankkalinnan Dipsy.
